Synopsis

Set in 1987, sixteen year old Claireece 'Precious' Jones is born into a life no one would want. She's pregnant for the second time by her absent father and at home she must wait hand and foot on her abusive mother. Precious is offered a life-line when she goes to a new school and meets her teacher who will help her on a journey from pain and powerlessness to light, love and self determination.
